It did not take long for the Kansas City Chiefs to get their newest speedster Xavier Worthy involved in the NFL’s season-opener against the Baltimore Ravens.

With new addition Marquise Brown out in this game, the Chiefs knew they were going to have to lean on their 2024 NFL Draft first round pick heavily in his NFL debut.

And that is not a problem for the former Texas Longhorn.

Xavier Worthy Scores First Touchdown

In his first career game, on his first career NFL touch, Worthy took a reverse in for a touchdown from 21 yards out.

Breaking the 40-yard dash record at the NFL Scouting Combine, Worthy put his 4.21 blazing speed on full display. Following his blockers, Worthy was not even touched on his way to the endzone.

The Chiefs got all of their blockers out in front of Worthy, and he did the rest. Welcome to the NFL, Xavier! This is the first of many!

The 2024 Paris Olympics was Stephen Curry’s first ever appearance in the Paris Olympics. The Golden State Warriors star poured so much athleticism into his first appearance on the international stage that caught everyone’s attention, including popular NBA analyst Skip Bayless.

After Team USA’s 98-87 victory over France in the Olympics final, LeBron James was crowned with the MVP title of the tournament. Soon after that, Bayless stirred controversy by posting on social media that LeBron should not win the MVP title. Rather, the sports analyst sees Curry as the real winner of the title.

I’M SORRY, NOW THERE’S NO WAY LEBRON IS MVP. IT HAS TO BE STEPH. 17 THREES IN THE SEMI AND THE FINAL. WE WOULD NOT HAVE WON EITHER WITHOUT HIM,” Bayless wrote in an X post.

Curry scored 24 points in the final game against France. With his outstanding shooting skills, the Warriors star hit eight three-pointers, three of which came in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter. On the other hand, James contributed 14 points and 10 assists and shot an impressive 60% from the field.
