Athletes can be creatures of habits and that includes doing things that don’t involve their profession.

Instagram model Raquel Reitx, who has more than 500,000 followers on the popular social site, recently revealed that every athlete that jumps into her direct messages all do the same exact thing.

They all just send the fire emoji.

“I reckon that in the dressing rooms, they have openly agreed how to do it. They all do the same thing,” Raquel said during a recent podcast appearance, per Outkick. “They send a ‘fire’ emoji, but they don’t react to the story.”

If the emoji does not garner a response from her, the athletes all react by deleting what they posted.

“They send it. If you don’t answer them, they delete it. Always the same.”

Instagram models have been very forthcoming about athletes jumping in their messages, especially if they find out they are in a relationship or married. Some of them won’t care and will still deal with the athlete.

The most scandalous situation has easily been Chicago White Sox star Tim Anderson who had a baby by his mistress but his wife refuses to leave even though the side-chick continues to expose the things he does for her.

New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson knows all about being exposed as adult star Moriah Mills spent weeks revealing how they have been having sex only for him to get his girlfriend pregnant as if the two of them never had an ongoing sexual relationship.

Basically, fellas need to stay out of DMs and meet women the old-fashioned way to limit the many ways of being exposed.

Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum has broken her silence after filing for divorce from NFL tight end Darren Waller.

Plum and Waller tied the knot just over a year ago, exchanging their vows on March 4, 2023, but their union is already over, with the WNBA guard taking to social media late last month to share a heartbreaking message in which she hinted she was done with the New York Giants TE.

“I’m devastated,” she wrote. “I walked through fire for that man, but now I see it’s time to go. God has given me an incredible life, and I’m truly so grateful for the profound love from my family and friends, One day I’ll share my story, today is not that day. Thank you for the grace to process my pain, to forgive and move forward. Today and everyday I will continue to choose joy. Much love KP.”

Plum spoke to FOX reporter Paloma Villicana this week and discussed her personal life after being asked how she’s become a stronger athlete. She admitted that the offseason has been difficult for her, but it also strengthened her faith.

“The offseason has been tough for me,” Plum said. “I think everyone knows – it’s pretty public. For me, I’m super grateful. I think my faith has grown tremendously. Not just that, but I know who I am. You kind of get refined by fire.”
