Taylor made a post in response to Kayla Nicole’s story, which the YouTuber narrated on Angel Reese’s podcast. The story involved Taylor and her ex-husband Iman Shumpert.
YouTuber Kayla appeared on Angel Reese’s podcast “Unapologetically Angel” and revealed that she had a relationship with a guy who dumped her for an actress “popular at the time,” hinting at Taylor.
In Taylor’s post, she showcased her upcoming movies and projects and included a few related articles. She accompanied a self-motivating caption with her post:

In her interview with Angel Reese, Kayla Nicole did not name-drop Iman Shumpert or Teyana Taylor, but her revelation attracted a reaction from the actress who was unhappy with the YouTuber’s story.
The Jasmine Brand made a post on Instagram featuring the video of Kayla Nicole telling her tale on Angel Reese’s podcast.
“I was dating a guy and he dumped me through a text message. He dumped me for a singer-actress who was famous at the time. He dumped me for her, lied about it for months, then popped out with her and it became this public thing, like, ‘Oh my God, we love them,” Nicole said.
“So, he breaks up with me, dumps me, moves on, and for Halloween that year, I dressed up as her. I dressed up as that lady for Halloween!” she added.
Reese asked Nicole if the pictures were still up, and the fitness YouTuber revealed that it had gone viral and was probably on the internet.
The Jasmine Brand’s post also featured Taylor’s long response to Nicole, where she called Nicole’s story distasteful.
“F–k the Iman part, I’m divorced and happily so, however her choice of words were very distasteful and uncalled for. She knew exactly what she was doing. That lady said “she was famous at the time” also said “idc who see it” it was very distasteful & uncalled for. Most importantly she knew people would dig,” Taylor wrote.
In her reply, Taylor said that she had found out about the story as she was trending without even Nicole mentioning her name. She ended her response by taking a jab at the Youtuber’s drama with Taylor Swift.
