LaMelo Ball has been circulating around the internet for months over he is possibly dating or shooting his shot at.

After an outstanding rookie campaign, LaMelo is back in the news this week after social media users spotted him shooting his shot off the court on an Instagram Live with Chantel Jeffries.

Jeffries is most known for once dating Justin Bieber during the first half of 2014, and was with him in his rented Lamborghini when he was arrested for drunk driving and drag racing in Miami that January. They would rekindle their relationship briefly in mid-2016.

Ball, 20, is one of three finalists for Rookie of the Year, joining Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards and Sacramento’s Tyrese Haliburton. Ball, who averaged 15.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game, is considered the front-runner for the award.

He missed 21 games with a broken wrist in a season that ended with the Hornets finishing 10th in the NBA Eastern Conference and losing to the Indiana Pacers in a play-in game.

Jeffries has a successful career as an Instagram model who boasts over 4.7 million followers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily have had to evacuate their home this week because of Hurricane Helene.

The hurricane hit northern Florida pretty hard, causing major flooding and power loss.

Mayfield, his wife Emily, their daughter, and their dog left their residence before the storm hit as a means of caution. Emily furnished her followers with an update on Friday.

“Baker, Koko, Fergus and I evacuated yesterday and are safe,” she said via Instagram. “Our sweet, sweet community got pummeled, but even that doesn’t compare to the people up North who took this storm head on. It’s unfathomable.”

Emily is grateful that Helene did not affect the Mayfield home but revealed she was “praying nonstop” for the people dealing with the impact while also offering tangible assistance.

“I am looking for ways to get out and tangibly help,” she added. “Please send me anything you find, and I will share the good ones.”
