LeBron James, the star player for the Los Angeles Lakers, has been very active on social media these days. The 36-year-old recently called out the social media account Legion Hoops for spreading false information about his decision to join the Lakers. Additionally, James criticized a commentator for making bold claims about his former teammate in his latest post on X (formerly Twitter).
Legion Hoops recently posted a video of Russell Westbrook’s first preseason game against the Boston Celtics. During his debut game with the Denver Nuggets, Westbrook was criticized by Celtics commentator Drew Carter. The Celtics broadcast stated that Westbrook became the Lakers’ scapegoat when he played with LeBron James.
James, who is widely regarded as the greatest of all-time players, wasn’t satisfied with the Celtics commentator’s statement. The all-time points leader responded, “Took a trip all the way to Abu Dhabi to be on my…..Eat some breakfast first! Anyways Brodie a LEGEND.”
Westbrook, who was recently criticized by an NFL legend, has not reacted to the Celtics commentators’ statement. However, James’ savage response can be satisfying for him as the four-time NBA champion called Westbrook a “Legend.”
Bronny Makes NBA Preseason Debut with LeBron James Observing from the Bench
James had a long-time wish to play alongside his son, Bronny, in the league, and that wish is finally going to come true. Bronny made his debut in the Lakers’ 107-124 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, scoring 2 points, one assist, and one rebound in 16 minutes.
James, who didn’t play in the first 2024 NBA preseason game, enjoyed watching his son’s performance from the bench and showed his support for him. The first game did not witness the highly anticipated moment of James and his son playing together on the court. However, they are set to make history as the first father-son duo in NBA history in the upcoming games soon.
The Lakers will face the Phoenix Suns in the upcoming match. It will be truly exciting to see if the four-time NBA champion will share the court with his son. This potential father-son moment is sure to captivate fans and add an extra layer of excitement to the game.
Everyone Is Praying For Baker Mayfield And His Wife After The Couple Was Forced From Their Home In Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily have had to evacuate their home this week because of Hurricane Helene.
The hurricane hit northern Florida pretty hard, causing major flooding and power loss.
Mayfield, his wife Emily, their daughter, and their dog left their residence before the storm hit as a means of caution. Emily furnished her followers with an update on Friday.
“Baker, Koko, Fergus and I evacuated yesterday and are safe,” she said via Instagram. “Our sweet, sweet community got pummeled, but even that doesn’t compare to the people up North who took this storm head on. It’s unfathomable.”
Emily is grateful that Helene did not affect the Mayfield home but revealed she was “praying nonstop” for the people dealing with the impact while also offering tangible assistance.
“I am looking for ways to get out and tangibly help,” she added. “Please send me anything you find, and I will share the good ones.”
