Bryce James, the youngest son of Savannah and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, has announced his commitment to a top NCAA basketball program.

On his Instagram account, Bryce James wrote that he’s “100 % committed” to the Arizona Wildcats’ team. Bryce, who turns 18 in June, is finishing his senior year at Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, California.

Bryce’s older brother, Bronny James, also attended Sierra Canyon High before spending one season of college basketball at USC. Following his tenure with the Trojans, Bronny was drafted 55th overall by the Lakers and became teammates with his father.

Bronny and LeBron became the first father-son duo to play in the NBA at the same time. The younger James has split his 2024-25 rookie year with the Lakers and the South Bay Lakers of the G League.

Bryce James is listed at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds. He started high school at Sierra Canyon and transferred to Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California before transferring back to the former.

LeBron James remains one of the league’s elite players at the age of 40 (his birthday was on Dec. 30). The four-time NBA Champion has averaged 23.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game in 29 contests.

Bryce James Joins A Marquee NCAA Program

Arizona has been one of the nation’s top men’s basketball programs since the Fred Snowden era began in 1972-73. The Wildcats won the national championship for the first time in the 1997 season and have had several close calls this century, with seven Sweet Sixteen appearances alone since 2011.

So Bryce is in good hands here as he prepares to join an Arizona team that sits at 7-5 coming into the new year.

The NFL and Beyonce are being criticized on the back of the latter’s halftime performance during the Christmas Day showdown between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens.

The fixture, streamed exclusively on Netflix, saw the Ravens pick up a convincing 31-2 victory.

Beyonce gave the crowd quite the performance at halftime but sparked some controversy after making a gun gesture with her fingers.

Fans Wanted Fines And Flags For Beyonce

Fans thought it strange that Beyonce could bust out the guns while NFL players get fined for it. They thought she should have at least gotten flagged.

“Where is the flag on Beyoncé for the finger guns?!?!” someone asked.
