Melissa Rivers is certain that her mother Joan Rivers would not approve of Travis Kelce’s fashion choices

Travis Kelce has established himself as a fashionable guy, showing up to games in his Sunday best. Unafraid to push boundaries, he’s open to experimenting with different looks. While he doesn’t stick to any one particular style—something often celebrated in the fashion world—one person believes that Kelce’s fashion decisions aren’t always the best.

Melissa Rivers, the daughter of legendary comedian, actor, and host of Fashion Police Joan Rivers, shared her criticism of Travis Kelce‘s fashion choice on the Virtual Reali-Tea show hosted by Evan Real and Danny Murphy.

I don't love his fashion choices, he borders on fashion victim.

Melissa Rivers said

Rivers believes Kelce is accustomed to following the popular trends in the fashion industry, rather than sticking to one style that suits him the best.

Gauging Kelce by his outfits to the games and on dates with his girlfriend Taylor Swift, the tight end has made some questionable outfit choices. He has shown an inclination towards popular brands such as Gucci and Louis Vuitton. Melissa Rivers went on to elaborate that the fashion victim phenomenon is common among all, especially women.

It's not a burn, women do that all the time too, that you're so entrenched with 'of the moment' that it doesn't matter how it looks, it's of the moment, of the moment, of the moment, and not like a lot of personal style.

Melissa Rivers added

Her point is that Kelce’s fashion choices do not reflect his personality and characteristic traits which define him, but rather send the message that he prefers to wear what is in vogue.

It became popular as fans enjoyed watching Joan Rivers and the panelists make fun of the questionable outfit choices of their beloved stars. Rivers was the star of the show as her comedic genius almost always had a witty comment that would lead to the entire audience bursting out in laughter.

As for the question ‘Would Joan Rivers approve of Travis Kelce’s fashion choices?’ Her daughter Melissa made it clear that she would not.

She wouldn't be happy. She would not be happy. She liked men to dress very traditionally and if the were going to be more creative, be it in more of an elegant way.

Melissa believes her mother would not approve of the prints and designs which Kelce flaunts.

Style is more of a personal choice and Travis Kelce has never shied away from wearing unconventional designs and outfits because they reflect his outgoing personality to an extent. Ever since he began dating Taylor Swift, the tight end has continued to try different combinations, despite getting roasted on social media for some of his choices.
