2024 has been one of the most insane years in recent memory. Some fans consider Mike Tyson coming out of retirement to fight YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul one of the craziest moments, and Sydney Thomas has not minded.
Thomas went viral after the November 15th fight in Dallas, Texas, where she earned a spot as one of the ring card girls. Almost immediately following the battle, Thomas went insanely viral for her looks, which she was proud to show off to over 100 million people on Netflix.
Thomas’ latest Instagram post was a partnership with the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks. It showcases the model sitting courtside at a Hawks game. The picture currently has just over 91,000 likes and counting.
Thomas has gone so viral this past year that she has earned herself one for the trophy case as she has been crowned 2024’s Instagram Model of the Year by Outkick, who recently released their rankings from 20 to 1.

“No. 1 on this year’s list was an easy one in my book. It’s Sydney Thomas. The Alabama student was appearing in Screencaps before Netflix introduced her to the rest of the world,” claimed Outkick after naming her number one.
Other names mentioned in the list of Instagram models were Livvy Dunne, Mikayla Demaiter, and Paige Spiranac, who came in at six, three, and two, respectively. But Thomas earned her spot after one of the most viral moments in 2024.
