A lot of eyes were on the mega matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens, but not many people came away too happy with Tony Romo.
The former Cowboys quarterback quickly transitioned from the field to the broadcast booth with his keen eye and football knowledge.
However, he has run into a ton of trouble with his commentary over recent years.
NFL reporter Charles Robinson took exception to a comment Tony Romo made while the Ravens were battling the Eagles.
Robinson, who covers the NFL for Yahoo! Sports, thought Romo took his job way too far when doing that. Robinson said, “Should Tony Romo be calling for New York to take another look at a replay? Is that his job as an analyst?”

When asked if Tony Romo has the power to call for New York to take another look, Robinson responded to an X user: “He shouldn’t. But he even commented in the broadcast that when they bring it up, NY usually listens, which seems odd.”
Another user pointed out that it is Romo’s job to discuss the game.
Robinson fired back, “It’s not just opinion when you literally lobby for NY to take a look at a replay. That’s outside the bounds of opinion or analysis.”
Tony Romo Called Out Multiple Uncalled False Starts on Eagles’ Tush Push
The Philadelphia Eagles went into M&T Bank Stadium and defeated the Baltimore Ravens, but it wasn’t without controversy.
Despite fumbling on a snap at the goal line on one play, Jaen Hurts recovered and scored a touchdown late in the second quarter.
Tony Romo called the team out for a false start that the refs clearly missed, saying, “Actually, that’s a false start, technically.”
“It’s a false start. That should be called a false start. Everyone moved before the ball was snapped.”
That uncalled penalty ultimately made the difference in the game as the Eagles won, 24-19.
VIDEO: A’ja Wilson Sends Social Media Into A Frenzy After Claiming She Would Beat Josh Hart In A 1v1
Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has emerged as one of the most prominent figures in women’s basketball. Her outstanding achievements and dominant performances on the court have boosted her confidence in her skills. However, this confidence has recently caused her some trouble, as NBA fans criticized her for a recent statement she made.
In a recent episode of the “Roommates” show, Wilson stunned both the NBA and WNBA by claiming that she could defeat New York Knicks star Josh Hart in a one-on-one matchup. Additionally, she predicted that the final score would be 11-8.
“Score would be 11-8, me. I’m not saying you gonna go scoreless, 8 to 11 is pretty solid. So, what do you think it’ll be, Josh?” Wilson said.
Although Josh and Wilson both had a good laugh during their conversation, Wilson’s comment stirred up the basketball community. “She’d lose 11-0 w him only playing w his offhand,” one fan said.
