Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (15) walks off the...

The Kansas City Chiefs will have their first game of the season that will not be played at Arrowhead Stadium, as they get set to travel to Atlanta to face Falcons. Patrick Mahomes is preparing for the trip, one that will not have wife Brittany and their kids.

It might seem like the signal caller is a strong human being after constantly being hit and he is seen running for his life away from defenders, but he definitely has a soft spot for his family and even after being away for road games, he has to be there for his pregnant wife and two kids.

During an interview with People Magazine, Mahomes revealed that he relies “on FaceTime when the team travels, so that he doesn’t miss out on any family moments,” as this makes him feel closer to them even away from home.

Video phone calls to the rescue

It is almost certain that he is using his plan with T-Mobile, as he has been tied to an advertising campaign with the company and as he says, this is a way to stay close to his family members even on the flight with the rest of the team.

The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football in a game that will feature the defending and undefeated Super Bowl champions against Kirk Cousins who looks to lead his team to a second victory on the season.

Former NFL star quarterback Brett Favre has taken a swipe at pop sensation Taylor Swift for political reasons ahead of the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.

The 11-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro is known to be a supporter of former President Donald Trump and has previously endorsed him.

He’s since taken a shot at Swift, who recently endorsed Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris following Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes informing everyone that he wouldn’t endorse a candidate.

“Good take by Mahomes,” he wrote in a tweet.

“I see a lot of celebs trying to influence their audience instead of letting the people think for themselves. If the best choice for them ain’t clear and they’re easily swayed by their fav pop artist, it’s not going to be a good thing.”
