Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes has tried distancing himself from P Diddy amid the rapper’s troubling 2024, but he wasn’t slick enough to get past social media.

Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, has been arrested on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges and is being held without bail as he awaits trial. The arrest follows his homes being raided in March, which is when the Chiefs star realized it might not be a good idea to keep his Diddy-related tweets online.

It appears Mahomes used to be a fan but is among the many supporters the hip-hop mogul has lost following his legal troubles.

Patrick Mahomes Scrubbed P Diddy Off His Social Media

Posts from Mahomes’ past relating to Combs started disappearing after being revisited by users in the wake of the search. The QB wished Diddy a happy birthday in one tweet, referring to him as “fam,” while another tweet read, “Yeah p diddy!!”

He deleted both of them, and fans are jokingly calling for his arrest following the latest development in the Diddy case.

Mahomes’ Tweets Are 10 Years Old

Both tweets were from 2014, with the second a reaction to a performance alongside Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams, Nelly, and Busta Rhymes at the NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans.

Mahomes was still a kid back then and hadn’t seen his 18th birthday. But he was a player on the rise as he would play his first season for Texas Tech, passing for 1,547 yards, 16 touchdowns, and four interceptions.

Clearly, Patrick Mahomes wants nothing to do with Diddy right now, and who could blame him? That he went back to delete 10-year-old tweets says a lot.
