Kimes posted herself holding her young son and wishing him a happy birthday.

Mina Kimes wrote, “Happy birthday to my sweet, sunny, fearless boy. Watching you grow up has been the greatest experience of my life; you make the small things more meaningful, while the big things that used to weigh me down suddenly feel very small.

I love that you show all eight (!) of your teeth when you smile, and how your laugh sounds when I make all of the animal sounds in a book.

I love how much you focus when you’re trying to pick up a single pea, and the way you immediately look for things to climb as soon as we enter a room. I love you with a depth I didn’t know I had, because as you’ve gotten bigger, so have I, in a way. You are my greatest gift.”

That incredible post by Kimes has received over 27,000 likes and over 400 comments.
