During Sunday Night Football, NBC reminded just about every NFL fan of a quarterback who never was when they put up a graphic discussing how impressive the quarterbacks from the 2018 NFL draft class have been this season.

Baker Mayfield revived his career in Tampa Bay, while Sam Darnold became an MVP contender after saving his career in Minnesota.

Josh Allen’s play is showing everybody that he does not need Stefon Diggs, and Lamar Jackson has won two MVPs in his career thus far.

However, the other quarterback is former UCLA star and Arizona Cardinals No. 10 overall pick Josh Rosen.

Him being included in the graphic was an ouch moment.

Over a five-year NFL career, it became clear that being a quarterback was not a particularly viable career option for Josh Rosen.

Four of the five quarterbacks taken in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft are starting in 2024.

Baker Mayfield, Browns (No. 1 overall)
Sam Darnold, Jets (No. 3)
Josh Allen, Bills (No. 7)
Josh Rosen, Cardinals (No. 10)
Lamar Jackson, Ravens (No. 32)

Josh Rosen was a highly-touted prospect coming out of UCLA.

He appeared in 24 regular-season games, throwing for 2,864 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions.

Josh Rosen Forever Regrets The “9” Mistakes Comment After His Draft Selection

Josh Rosen was taken tenth overall in the 2018 draft and had only played a regular-season snap with three of the six teams he has been on.

Widely considered one of the modern-day NFL busts, Rosen has not had any success on the field, which is why he has been out of the league.

Rosen had a vendetta over every team that skipped past him before the Cardinals took him.

“I was pretty pissed off when I fell,” he said in 2018.

“One, two and three went by and it just kind of was a blur after that.”

As for the teams that passed on him? Rosen would send a message that would haunt him forever.

“Nine mistakes were made ahead of me,” said Rosen. “And I will make sure over the next decade or so that they will know that they made a mistake.”

He never showed them.

Everyone had the same observation and resulting joke after finding out Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola has a younger brother.

Said sibling is in the news this week, having committed to the Cornhuskers himself, and is expected to be part of the program’s 2026 recruitment class.

Dayton Railoa announced his commitment on Sunday night. He replaced his older brother as the starting QB at Georgia’s Buford High School following his departure for college and has led them to four wins from their first five outings.

Dayton’s commitment makes him the newest Raiola to be associated with the Huskers.

The boys’ father, Dominic Raiola, played for the school from 1997-2000 before going on to spend 14 years with the Detroit Lions in the NFL.
