Social media detectives reckon they know exactly why Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has been struggling this season following a certain image surfacing online.

Young’s start to the season has been nothing short of atrocious. The Panthers have decided to bench him after a pair of regrettable performances, with many now believing his career with the team is all but over.

Despite Carolina’s effort to surround him with top talent, the 2023 No. overall pick hasn’t shown any improvement from last season. And fans believe they know exactly why that is.

An X/Twitter exchange prompted suggestions of the player’s slump being caused by heartbreak as his ex-girlfriend was spotted with Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey at a recent Eagles game.

“Bruh wtf did Bryce’s girl leave him or something,” a user asked in reference to a clip of the QB’s lowlights.

“Ngl she actually did 😭 they caught her with Tyrese Maxey at the eagles game,” another user replied.

“Omg bruh 😭 We have to lift this young brother in prayer 😓,” another said, sharing a photo of said ex seated next to Maxey.

Who Is Bryce Young’s EX?

The woman in question is Myra Gordon. She’s known to have dated Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders before she was with Bryce Young.

It now appears that she has moved on to Maxey.


Gordon is also an athlete, having played college basketball at Alabama before transferring to Pepperdine.

She averaged 7.9 points, 3,6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game last season, but the Waves only managed five wins from their 30 outings.

Former NFL star quarterback Brett Favre has taken a swipe at pop sensation Taylor Swift for political reasons ahead of the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.

The 11-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro is known to be a supporter of former President Donald Trump and has previously endorsed him.

He’s since taken a shot at Swift, who recently endorsed Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris following Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes informing everyone that he wouldn’t endorse a candidate.

“Good take by Mahomes,” he wrote in a tweet.

“I see a lot of celebs trying to influence their audience instead of letting the people think for themselves. If the best choice for them ain’t clear and they’re easily swayed by their fav pop artist, it’s not going to be a good thing.”
