Kylie Feuerbach is hoping to fill a more significant role now that Caitlin Clark is no longer on the team.

Feuerbach has been part of one of the most special eras in the Iowa Hawkeyes’ women’s basketball history, and now she hopes to continue it, no matter how tough that task might be.

The fifth-year senior is going viral this week after she turned heads at Iowa media day.

“Media dayyyy year 5 #Psalm115v1,” Feuerbach wrote as the caption for her Instagram post from the event.

Her carousel of pictures showed Kylie Feuerbach posing in different ways in the Iowa uniform, which also included matching socks, shoes, and a basketball.

Feuerbach’s college basketball journey has taken her from the bench in one Final Four to a significant role-player spot in another Final Four.

The redshirt senior has learned from a trio of Iowa legends and is now trying to pass along that knowledge to this year’s underclassmen while paving her own way.

For the past few years, there was no bigger show in women’s college basketball than Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes, but now, that era is over with her departure to the WNBA

Kylie Feuerbach may have the skills to keep it going.

More Minutes Means Increased Production For Kylie Feuerbach

With Caitlin Clark’s departure, the Iowa Hawkeyes will look to players like Kylie Feuerbach to help the team keep the good times flowing.

Feuerbach has been a solid rotation option for the Iowa women’s basketball team since transferring to the Hawkeyes from Iowa State in 2021.

She has been able to play alongside players like Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin, and Gabbie Marshall.

Kylie Feuerbach is likely to play a bigger role in the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Feuerbach emerged as an effective player off the bench for the Hawkeyes in their run to the NCAA Tournament final last season.

She averaged 2.7 points and 1.3 rebounds while shooting .316 from the field.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily have had to evacuate their home this week because of Hurricane Helene.

The hurricane hit northern Florida pretty hard, causing major flooding and power loss.

Mayfield, his wife Emily, their daughter, and their dog left their residence before the storm hit as a means of caution. Emily furnished her followers with an update on Friday.

“Baker, Koko, Fergus and I evacuated yesterday and are safe,” she said via Instagram. “Our sweet, sweet community got pummeled, but even that doesn’t compare to the people up North who took this storm head on. It’s unfathomable.”

Emily is grateful that Helene did not affect the Mayfield home but revealed she was “praying nonstop” for the people dealing with the impact while also offering tangible assistance.

“I am looking for ways to get out and tangibly help,” she added. “Please send me anything you find, and I will share the good ones.”
