The word fan is short for fanatic, as some people can become quite unhinged over athletes or entertainers, and now Paige Bueckers is finding out the hard way.

The UConn Huskies basketball star had a stalker for a fan who was recently arrested.

One fan tweeted that the unhinged man was on TikTok saying he would sacrifice anyone near Paige Bueckers. We can only assume he meant that he would bring harm to them.

After that tweet went viral, the fan would find himself in handcuffs and arrested.

While the details remain somewhat unclear, other social media posts suggest that the fan, identified only as Cole, had taken his obsession to extreme levels.

Just one look at his now-empty TikTok shows that he was most certainly obsessed with Paige Bueckers.

The bio on his page reads, “I’m here to merry Paige Bueckers. the rest is games to catch you lying.”

Other reports indicate that he had even created wedding invitations and a ring, imagining a fictional marriage with the future WNBA draft pick.

The unhinged fellow also shared a photo of himself holding a ticket with the caption, “I’m coming to UCONN Paige Madison Bueckers, I’ll be in Hartford tomorrow morning.”

In another post, he wrote, “I can’t wait to get you in my bedroom, princess.”

His erratic behavior and threats toward others are more than enough reasons to have him jailed for some time. This is not a guy you can play around with, as his behavior will only get worse.

Paige Bueckers Preparing For Final Season of College Basketball

The 2024-25 season is likely to be Paige Bueckers’ last at UConn.

“That’s the plan,” she said in June. “I’ve learned not to speak on the future, you never know what could happen.”

Bueckers is entering her fifth season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She actually has an additional year of eligibility beyond 2025-26.

She had the best year of her career this past season when she averaged 21.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.2 steals, and 1.4 blocks, according to her stats on ESPN.com.

Brittany Mahomes has hit back at her critics after the wife of the Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback was slammed for being caught liking a post related to the campaign of Donald Trump.

Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes, posted a strong but intriguing message on her Instagram story amid the significant backlash she has received.

The 28-year-old mother of two, soon to be three, “liked” one of the posts from the Republican nominee as many called for Tayor Swift to stop being around her.

Brittany Mahomes shared a quote from Shane Pruitt on Instagram: “Contrary to the tone of the world today… You can disagree with someone and still love them. You can have differing views and still be kind.”

Brittany herself appeared to send a message to her critics on social media by adding her own personal caption of, “Read that again!”
