The son of a former NFL player, Bubby Brister, has found out his punishment after a hit-and-run crash that left a man dead in Oct. 2022.
Walter Andrew Brister IV of Mandeville pleaded guilty to hit-and-run driving that caused a serious bodily injury or death last month.
A grand jury chose not to act on charging Brister with negligent homicide at the time.
The 21-year-old struck and killed Jude Jarreau with his vehicle, and the 44-year-old father of two was pronounced dead at the scene.

He completed his only pass attempt with the program as a freshman in 2021.
Like his father, Brister attended Neville High School and was the Tigers’ starting quarterback.

Jordan, who is widely considered to be the greatest NBA player of all time, was in France this week watching Monaco play Barcelona. The teams squared off for a UEFA Champions League showdown at the Louis II Stadium on Thursday, with the home side snatching a shocking 2-1 victory.
Photos of MJ in the stands quickly surfaced online, with his eyes a worrying shade of yellow.

The outing hardly marked the first time Jordan’s eyes got fans talking, but it appears whatever the condition is has gotten worse. Most fans are of the view that he’s jaundiced due to excessive drinking and could be dealing with liver problems.
