Rob Gronkowski is more known for his amazing personality and spirit than his business mindset. However, the tight end recently shared a story about how he made an investment that earned him hundreds of thousands of dollars.
It came from advice from a contractor he had hired to build his home, and that advice has since turned into the “best investment” of his life.
“The guy actually who built my house in Foxborough, he told me, ‘Hey, buy Apple stock. I’m telling you, that’s where it’s at.’ I’d never been involved in stocks, I really didn’t know how stocks worked. So I was like, ‘Alright, let me do this man.’ And I was like, ‘I’m going to go big,’” Gronk said, according to Fortune
Gronk followed the man’s instructions and bought $69,000 in 2014. Now, after 10 years, that total is worth over $600,000.

GRONK FORGOT ABOUT IT FOR YEARS… and is now worth over 600 THOUSAND DOLLARS.
“He built my house and gave all the money back!” – Gronk said.

Hilariously, Gronk, at one point, admitted that he had forgotten about the original investment for several years, and by the time he checked it again, it was worth about $250,000.
Luckily, Gronkowski also had no problem giving all the credit to the contractor, who may have given some of the best financial advice ever.
“All because of the investment I made in 2014, having no idea what I was doing but just listening to the man that built my house here in New England, so I appreciate that,” Gronk added.
This story should be perfect advice to not judge a book by its cover. It’s also a great example of one of the many reasons the rich get richer.
Rob Gronkowski Still Has Some Of The Highest Career Earning For Tight Ends
The amazing investment has only added to Gronk’s large sum, which he earned while playing in the NFL.
He retired in 2022 but still ranks eighth all-time in career earnings for tight ends with $70.6 million. The only two active players above him are Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz.
Of all that money, $53 million came from his nine years with the New England Patriots and $17 million from his two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
His largest contract was a six-year $54 million extension with New England, which he signed in 2012. This contract made up a good chunk of his career earnings.
PHOTOS: Everyone Was Saying The Same Thing About The Jaw-Dropping Hockey Fan Who Was Distracting The Crowd At Leafs-Devils Game
A photo of a female hockey fan who was busting out of her jeans at a Leafs-Devils game in early 2024 has gone viral online again.
Said supporter was pictured in the stands wearing a Devils Jack Hughes jersey, but that was probably the least interesting thing about her as a lower body part caused her to trend on X.
A new set of photos of her showing her assets off has popped up online ahead of the weekend, with one of the accounts posting asking, “Are you a hockey fan?”
