Justin Tucker is no longer the kicker we once knew.
Tucker has been superhuman as a kicker for the Baltimore Ravens for years, but it now appears that those days are over with his recent troubles.
Social media thinks it now knows the exact moment when things went wrong for him, and it has a lot to do with what happened between him and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Before the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the Ravens in the AFC title game just months ago, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes could be seen grabbing and tossing Justin Tucker’s field goal equipment to the side as they accused Tucker of warming up where the Chiefs QBs were supposed to be getting ready.
Tucker has struggled ever since.
Since that moment, Justin Tucker has missed three field goals between 40 and 49 yards and five from 50 yards or more.
During the 2024 season, he is at 70.4 percent in field goal percentage this year.
In his career, he has never been below 82%.

Here is how social media responded:
“Justin Tucker is legitimately no longer even a decent kicker. It’s astonishing he went from best to below average in one season. Kelce and Mahomes might have actually broke him, might be the only explanation for the rapid drop-off,” one fan said.
Another fan added: “Justin Tucker hasn’t been right ever since he was warming up in Patrick Mahomes’s space. The football gods got to him for messing with Thee One.”
“Ever since Justin Tucker got pushed around by Mahomes and Kelce during warmups in the AFC championship game last season, he hasn’t been the same. What did they do to him?” one fan asked.
Another X user brought up the Chiefs destroying Tucker’s confidence: “Justin Tucker messed with the devil (Mahomes), and then they beat him and gave him the first bad year of his career, including single-footedly losing a game at home to the Eagles, a team that Mahomes has already punished as revenge for Andy Reid.”
One final fan added: “Justin Tucker literally has not been the same since his run-in with Kelce and Mahomes pregame.”
Justin Tucker Gets Honest About His Missed Kicks
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has become a liability.
Tucker not only looks like a shell of his former self but also appears to be one of the worst kickers in the entire league.
After Sunday, the future Hall of Fame kicker has now missed a league-high ten kicks (eight field goals and two extra points).
Justin Tucker hit a new low against the Eagles. His three missed kicks prevented the team from winning the game, which they lost by five.
“As simply as I can put it, I missed the kicks, and I’ll leave it at that,” Tucker said postgame. “I just left the points out there. I feel like I cost us this one, but it doesn’t really do anybody any good to dwell on it.”
Kansas City Chiefs President Forced To Address Rumors That Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Relationship Is Just A “Marketing Strategy” For The Team

There’s a conspiracy theory for just about everything, including bizarre ones relating to the highly publicized relationship between Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has been in a relationship with Taylor Swift for over a year. Their rumored romance was confirmed when Swift attended the Chiefs’ Week 3, 2023 home game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.
Kelce’s romance with Swfit has been a giant win for the Chiefs and the NFL, too. She has brought plenty more attention to the NFL and contributed to the Chiefs’ skyrocketing popularity worldwide.
Naturally, conspiracy theorists believe the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift romance is simply a marketing ploy to help the Chiefs and the league. But Chiefs president Mark Donovan finally addressed the ridiculous rumor during an appearance on NBC’s “Squawk Box” program:
“I’d love to say that it was a marketing strategy, but it is an authentic relationship. And we’re happy to have it, and it’s been nothing but good for us.
I think the best thing I can say about the whole relationship and the impact it’s had on us is, Taylor Swift is an authentic member of the Kansas City Chiefs kingdom. She’s an authentic fan and that matters to our fans and our fan base and to matters to us and we try to respect that.”
