Phoenix Mercury guard Sophie Cunningham may be in the offseason, but she’s still capturing attention. Known for her fiery presence on the court and her eye-catching style off of it, Cunningham has become a fan favorite in the WNBA.

Over the past season, her game-day outfits sparked plenty of buzz, with fans appreciating her unique fashion sense as much as her skill on the hardwood.

“I’m 6-foot-1, I’m 165 pounds and I think it’s cool I’m a professional athlete. But it hasn’t always been easy being this big or this strong or taller than all the boys.”

Posing as a cowgirl

Recently, Cunningham switched up her style, trading pregame dresses for a Western-inspired look. She shared photos in an all-denim outfit topped with a cowgirl hat, a post that quickly gathered over 19,000 likes, proving her appeal reaches far beyond the basketball court.
