On Tuesday, the same day the presidential election officially started, it was announced that Donald Trump would become the 47th president of the United States, beating Kamala Harris. Many big names have spoken on the matter, including LeBron James.

James quickly took to Instagram to post. a photo of him and his daughter Zhuri with a heartfelt caption that read, “HEAVY ON MY HEART & MIND THIS AM MY PRINCESS 👸🏾!! PROMISE TO PROTECT YOU WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE AND MORE!! WE DONT NEED THEIR HELP! 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎.”

However, what seemed like a sweet post has many social media users calling out James for using his daughter to gain sympathy or for the wrong reasons.

Of course, LeBron has been very outspoken about the 2024 presidential election, similar to many athletes.

“What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!” he wrote on X just six days before the election.

Just between X and Instagram, James has over 200 million followers and is one of the most recognized athletes in the world, so his endorsement was worth paying attention to.

LeBron James and the Lakers Are Off To A Decent Start

The Lakers and James are just seven games into the 2024 NBA season and sport a 4-3 record, which puts them at sixth in the Western Conference.

They started off very strong, going 3-0, but have dropped three of their last four games, with the most recent loss coming to the Detroit Pistons 103-115.

So far, Anthony Davis has been the team’s highest scorer in five games, and James has led that category in the other two.

ESPN has made a decision on Jason Kelce following his recent altercation with a young Penn State fan.

The former Eagles star had an incident with a Nittany Lions supporter on his way to their game against Ohio State on Saturday that ended up going viral online.

Kelce made an appearance on ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ ahead of the fixture, but it wasn’t a smooth Saturday as he smashed a fan’s phone for asking how he feels about his brother Travis being “f***ot” for dating Taylor Swift, because it’s apparently gay to date women now…

Kelce would grab said fan’s phone, as he was recording him at the time, before smashing it and then asking him, “Who’s the faggot now?”
