TRAVIS Kelce has revealed that he and girlfriend Taylor Swift were in hysterics while watching brother Jason’s Monday Night Football debut.

The elder Kelce brother, 36, signed a three-year deal with ESPN after retiring from football at the end of last season.

He made his long-awaited debut this week, ahead of the San Francisco 49ers’ 32-19 win over the New York Jets.

Kelce got off to an unfortunate start, by leaving his travel bag in his truck.

This led to him scrambling for a new shirt in a local mall ahead of the broadcast.

The tight white shirt appeared to be straining over his torso, with host Scott Van Pelt poking fun at the situation.

“We are thrilled to welcome in an All-NFL selection, future gold jacket wearer, he’s got a podcast that apparently is doing fairly well, and all that said, Jason Kelce is wearing a shirt that he got at the mall because he left his travel bag in the truck,” Van Pelt said.

Kelce had fans, including his brother and Swift, in hysterics with his response.

“Fits my belly now I’ve lost a little bit of weight, but my t*** are still struggling,” Jason jokingly responded, much to Spears’ delight.

On the latest New Heights Podcast alongside his brother, Travis revealed how he responded while watching Jason’s ESPN wardrobe malfunction.

“Jason’s first Monday Night Countdown, on ESPN,” the Kansas City Chiefs star began. “You went up to the Bay Area for your first Monday Night Countdown and forgot to pack a shirt for Jason.

“Luckily enough there was a Lululemon around and he got to explain himself within the first 30 seconds of his ESPN debut.”

Travis Kelce in stitches following brother Jason’s chaotic analyst debut on ESPN as ex-NFL star laughs ‘can I say that?’

After quoting his brother’s hilarious response, Travis added, “Which is a great quote. Me and Taylor were watching that absolutely dying laughing at it.

“It was the perfect thing to open everybody up to what they were going to experience for the next 18 weeks.”

The tight end then asked his older brother if he thinks this is the first time that “t***” has been said on ESPN.

“I don’t know,” Jason responded. “I got asked on Twitter… even when I said it – t*** is a funny word, because I think it’s allowable, it’s not against the rules to say in a broadcast.

‘It was a short retirement!’

Jason Kelce didn’t stay retired in the NFL for long.

The former Philadelphia Eagles lineman called it quits after the 2023 season.

But he will be part of ESPN’s coverage on Monday Night Football in 2024.

Kelce will appear on Monday Night Countdown from 6pm-8pm ET every week as well as during the halftime show.

“Turns out, it was a short retirement!” he joked.

“ESPN was a consistent presence in our household growing up and the network helped shape who I am and my love of all sports.

“To now appear on that same screen is a full circle moment.

“And, I mean it’s freaking Monday Night Football! and I’m ready for some football.”

“But it’s definitely something that you wouldn’t typically say in a broadcast.

“It’s one of those words that doesn’t belong in a broadcast.”

While Jason headed up to San Francisco for his ESPN gig, Taylor and Travis spent the weekend in New York City.

With a couple of days off following the Chiefs’ 27-20 triumph over the Baltimore Ravens last Thursday, the loved-up couple attended the US Open’s men’s singles final at Flushing Meadows.

Appearing alongside Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, the pair seemed to have a great time despite home hopeful Taylor Fritz’s straight sets defeat to world No1 Jannik Sinner.

The Chiefs will be back in action this Sunday, when they host the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium.
