The Minnesota Timberwolves registered their second straight win on Thursday night to manage a 5-3 record. The Wolves defeated the Chicago Bulls 135-119 to manage the joint-fourth spot in the Western Conference standings. During the game, the Timberwolves point guard almost posterized the Bulls center, Nikola Vucevic. However, Edwards was left disappointed as he barely missed the dunk.

Anthony Edwards is leading the Wolves in scoring with an average of 27.3 points per game, followed by Julius Randle with 21.4 points. With 224 points in eight games, Edwards currently sits at the seventh spot in the NBA’s scoring leaders list.

With 8:00 remaining in the third quarter and the Bulls were up 75-69, Edwards found an open space and made a run inside the paint. The 6-foot-10 Montenegrin attempted to block Edwards, who got the better of Vucevic. However, the Wolves guard missed the dunk and appeared disappointed despite winning the free shots.

Tom Brady may be reined in by FOX Sports following his awkward comment about Matt LaFleur that had the internet in stitches.

The former NFL quarterback called Sunday’s game between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions and liked what he saw where Green Bay’s head coach was concerned as he waxed lyrical over the 45-year-old Michigan native.

“Look at that perfect little moustache, goatee that he’s got,” Brady said right before a third-and-three. “We can’t see his hair today. But I was so impressed when I saw him in the tunnel, such a handsome guy. he said he spends $100 a week to keep himself looking like that.”

Kevin Burkhardt, his booth partner, could only offer a “Wow.”
