NBA players have always been dedicated to refining their basketball skills and performance.
Beyond their athletic prowess, many players have also committed time and effort to refine their off-court image, including elevating their style and prioritizing personal grooming and self-care.
One notable example of this off-court dedication is former NBA player Lamar Odom, who took his commitment to personal enhancement to a whole new level.
On Monday, TMZ Sports posted a video of Odom visiting Dr. Robert Dorfman’s skincare office in Beverly Hills. The video quickly went viral as the two-time NBA champion was undergoing a salmon sperm treatment, which involves micro-needling the skin with Rejuran salmon sperm DNA.
Salmon sperm facials are well known for increasing skin softness, moisture, and a smoother, more youthful-looking complexion. According to TMZ Sports, the treatment usually costs around $3,200, but it is still unclear what cost Odom paid to improve his skin and look younger.
However, it is evident that the former NBA player may have been inspired by his sister-in-law Kim Kardashian, who recently revealed on an episode of “The Kardashians” that she used that treatment.
Basketball Fans Roast Odom’s Salmon Sperm Treatment with Hilarious Jokes
After watching the video of Odom salmon sperm treatment and learning about the news, basketball fans started making hilarious jokes in the comment section of Legion Hoops’ post on X (formerly known as Twitter). One fan said, “Could’ve gone my whole life without knowing this.”
Meanwhile, another fan was surprised by the news and expressed a hilarious reaction.
Another fan joked, “If all of a sudden Lamar starts breathing through his gills we’ll know the treatment was successful.”
A basketball enthusiast commented, “Just more weird white stuff on around this guys face.”
Odom, who once revealed that he would fight with fake Drake, played 14 seasons in the NBA and won two NBA championships while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily have had to evacuate their home this week because of Hurricane Helene.
The hurricane hit northern Florida pretty hard, causing major flooding and power loss.
Mayfield, his wife Emily, their daughter, and their dog left their residence before the storm hit as a means of caution. Emily furnished her followers with an update on Friday.
“Baker, Koko, Fergus and I evacuated yesterday and are safe,” she said via Instagram. “Our sweet, sweet community got pummeled, but even that doesn’t compare to the people up North who took this storm head on. It’s unfathomable.”
Emily is grateful that Helene did not affect the Mayfield home but revealed she was “praying nonstop” for the people dealing with the impact while also offering tangible assistance.
“I am looking for ways to get out and tangibly help,” she added. “Please send me anything you find, and I will share the good ones.”
