Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow appeared to suffer a nasty injury during Sunday afternoon’s game against the Carolina Panthers, with his ankle twisting in a gruesome manner.

The Bengals are desperate for a win after falling to 0-3 with a loss to the Washington Commanders on Monday, and the last thing they need right now is an injury to their starting QB.

Things are pretty tight at Bank of America Stadium, with scores locked at 14-14 heading into halftime at the time of writing.

Joe Burrow Gave Cincinnati A Scare

The Bengals had a massive scare in the first quarter of the game after one of their offensive linemen stepped on Burrow’s ankle.

Check it out in the video below:

Burrow could ill afford an ankle issue right now after injury-laden campaigns thanks to a torn ACL and a serious wrist injury.

Fortunately, he was okay enough to keep playing. But it’s something the Bengals will be concerned about, given how badly this looked.

Everyone had the same observation and resulting joke after finding out Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola has a younger brother.

Said sibling is in the news this week, having committed to the Cornhuskers himself, and is expected to be part of the program’s 2026 recruitment class.

Dayton Railoa announced his commitment on Sunday night. He replaced his older brother as the starting QB at Georgia’s Buford High School following his departure for college and has led them to four wins from their first five outings.

Dayton’s commitment makes him the newest Raiola to be associated with the Huskers.

The boys’ father, Dominic Raiola, played for the school from 1997-2000 before going on to spend 14 years with the Detroit Lions in the NFL.
