Early in 2022, Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, most known for his work on sports radio talk shows, started appearing on ESPN’s “First Take.”

Since then, he has made pretty regular weekly appearances on the show, which has made for some pretty funny moments, but the best one just recently happened.

On Wednesday, the “First Take” crew discussed the Baltimore Ravens’ recent loss to the Cleveland Browns that nobody saw coming.

Russo started ranting about how he thought the Ravens suffered one of the season’s worst losses. Suddenly, co-host Molly Qerim mentioned something about “gummies,” and Russo delivered his best and funniest line.

“I had a gummy this morning, I’m flying…right before he did the Yankee nonsense, I said let me go gobble one. And I went back with Mendoza and I took a gummy,” he said.

Russo also mentioned the “Yankee nonsense” from Stephen A. Smith at the beginning of the show, where Smith said he motivated New York to win on Tuesday and avoid the sweep in the World Series by the hands of the Dodgers.

Russo’s ridiculous statement received some hilarious reactions from both Smith and Qerim. Smith was especially animated, putting his hands over his face and looking away.

Chris “Mad Dog” Russo Called Halloween “Overrated”

Also, while on “First Take,” Russo made a bold statement calling Halloween “overrated.” he even followed in Smith’s footsteps by creating the five worst things about Halloween.

The list included trick-or-treaters, finding costumes for kids, carving pumpkins, scary movies, and haunted houses.

He also wrote a hilarious line: “Don’t you dare come to my house! If you come to my house tomorrow, I am going to scare you.”

It’s safe to say that Russo is not only extremely passionate about sports but also his hatred for Halloween.

Nick Bosa may have landed himself in hot water with the NFL following his actions after the San Francisco 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

The Niners enjoyed a 30-24 win over Dallas in the ‘SNF’ fixture. Quarterback Brock Purdy had a stellar game, completing 18 of 26 passing attempts for 260 yards and a touchdown while showing some surprising athleticism as a scrambler.

Bosa also had an impressive outing as he made life pretty difficult for the Cowboys offensive line, also making three tackles, a sack, and two QB hits.

After the game, he popped up behind Purdy while the QB was being interviewed and pointed to his “Make America Great Again” hat before running toward the locker room.
