Sha’carri Richardson got her revenge.

The dynamic track and field sprinter, who competes in the 100-meter and 200-meter races, is going viral this week for several reasons.

A few weeks ago, Richardson was side-by-side against Julien Alfred in the 100-meter final at the Paris Olympics as she would come in second to capture the silver medal.

This week, Sha’carri Richardson was set to compete against her again, along with others, at the Weltklasse Zurich Diamond League track and field meet on Thursday.

Before that, Richardson was on social media, showing herself busting out of an orange outfit and then a black one.

Fans were throbbing at the mouth:

The U.S. world champion is back in a big way as she finally got back on the track for the first time since the Paris Olympics.

World Champion Sha’Carri Richardson Gets Revenge On Julian Alfred

World champion Sha’Carri Richardson showed up and showed out as she avenged her Olympic defeat by Julien Alfred by reversing the tables in the 100m at the Diamond League meet in Zurich on Thursday.

Richardson headed into the final 20 meters at the Letzigrund Stadium in third behind Saint Lucia’s Olympic champion Alfred and Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith.

However, her top-end speed is the best in the world, and she ran them both down to dip for first place in 10.84 seconds, 0.04 seconds ahead of Alfred, per Olympics.com.

“I am training and executing because I know the race is not going to take care of itself,” said Richardson.

Alfred winning gold was the first-ever Olympic medal of any color for her tiny Caribbean island homeland.
