The Huskies star showed up for her former college teammate, Aaliyah Edwards, who now plays for the Mystics.

Washington selected Edwards as the No. 6 overall pick in April; she is averaging 7.3 points and 4.8 rebounds as a rookie. Unfortunately, the Mystics haven’t been able to get a win on the board and own the worst record in the WNBA at 0-9.

Bueckers, meanwhile, has been one of the biggest names in women’s college basketball over the past few years and is now the most popular, given that Caitlin Clark has gone pro.

She is set to enter her senior season with the Huskies in 2024, and fans are excited to see what she’ll bring. They’re also looking forward to seeing her enter the WNBA.

The UConn star was shown at Tuesday’s game wearing a special T-shirt with the words, “Everyone watches women’s sports” on the front.

The video, posted by the WNBA’s official Twitter/X account, went viral, with many fans taking notice of the message on her shirt.

Paige Bueckers is one of the players to have aided the growth of women’s basketball in recent times, having developed into a mesmerizing talent. She isn’t relying on just her game to do the talking, as she apparently wants to push a message.

Her post suggests that too:

The guard is expected to be a top pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. She is also still eligible to continue in college. We’ll have to wait to see what she decides to do.

Former NFL star quarterback Brett Favre has taken a swipe at pop sensation Taylor Swift for political reasons ahead of the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.

The 11-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro is known to be a supporter of former President Donald Trump and has previously endorsed him.

He’s since taken a shot at Swift, who recently endorsed Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris following Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes informing everyone that he wouldn’t endorse a candidate.

“Good take by Mahomes,” he wrote in a tweet.

“I see a lot of celebs trying to influence their audience instead of letting the people think for themselves. If the best choice for them ain’t clear and they’re easily swayed by their fav pop artist, it’s not going to be a good thing.”
