Shaquille O’Neal Gives A Brutally Honest Opinion When Asked If The New York Knicks Are True Contenders For The Title Next Season

Shaquille O’Neal, a former NBA player, is well-known for being one of the most engaging personalities in the league. He frequently participates in multiple podcasts to share his opinions on a variety of subjects. In addition to hosting “Inside the NBA” on TNT, Shaq, who recently mocked Rudy Gobert, also has his own podcast where he discusses various NBA activities. In a recent episode of “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” the host, also known as Big Diesel, gave a brutally honest opinion when asked if the New York Knicks are true contenders for the title next season.
No. You know what it is? New York is a place that’s built on hype, that controls the hype. They can hype everybody else up. They haven’t won [expletive] but ‘Oohh, New York.’ So, young fella [Brunson] can play. I was wrong about him. He’s impressive. But they’re nowhere close to winning a championship. They’re gonna win some games, but I’m more impressed with how many championships you won at the end of your career.” Shaq said.
Shaq praised the Knicks’ star player, Jalen Brunson, and noted that New York is a place that controls its own buzz. However, he also mentioned that even though the Knicks might win a few games, winning a championship is far from their grasp.

In addition to his success on the court, Shaq has also achieved great success off the court. The multi-brand owner and four-time NBA champion is a prosperous businessman, having owned several profitable businesses, including “Big Chicken.” He is a successful investor as well as a brand ambassador for several companies. In addition, he has a reputation for doing philanthropic work, especially when it comes to changing communities, especially those that include children. As a result of his philanthropic efforts, he has been selected to receive the 2024 Muhammad Ali Humanitarian of the Year honor.
“Philanthropically, Shaquille has raised millions of dollars for charity. He is a national spokesperson for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and his relationship with the organization dates back to his youth in New Jersey. He is also a member of the National Board of Directors for Communities in Schools,” Muhammad Ali Center said in a press release.
Shaq has a sizable fan base that eagerly awaits his daily antics because he consistently speaks up in interviews and offers his honest thoughts on a wide range of topics.

In a TikTok video, Regan shared a picture of the suite and stated how excited she was when she spotted an Eras Tour poster on the wall. “This is where Taylor gets to sit! Also, the fact that there is an Eras Tour poster in this room is so funny to me,” she wrote in a caption.
