Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is already building excitement for her upcoming Reebok signature shoes, set for release in 2026.
Although fans will have to wait a couple of years for the official launch, Reese gave a sneak peek on social media, showing off a player’s edition of her shoes.
In an Instagram story, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year runner-up expressed her excitement, in the post’s caption.
“We love a good PE,” Reese posted.
“2026 idk if i can wait.”
The teaser has fans eagerly anticipating the full release of the shoes in just a few years.
Reese has a growing partnership with Reebok
Reese’s collaboration with Reebok began in the 2024 WNBA season, and she’s already been part of a product launch with the brand.
In August, she revealed a collection with Reebok, and now, the 2026 release of her signature shoes is on the horizon. Reese is joining a select group of WNBA players with their own shoe lines, and the timing coincides with reports that Nike is set to release Caitlin Clark’s signature sneakers in the same year.
Before the 2024 season, Reese shared why she chose Reebok over other major brands.
“So many different shoe companies wanted to work with me, but I chose Reebok,” she explained.
“They didn’t have a women’s basketball player, a face, so I wanted to be that.”
Another key factor in her decision was her connection with Shaquille O’Neal, who serves as Reebok’s president of basketball operations. Reese also appreciated Reebok’s willingness to let her have creative control.
“I like how they were branding everything, and they’re letting me be the creative behind everything I want to do,” she said.
“I have my own shoe line coming out, merch, that y’all can shop and like-stuff to our age.”
While joining a big brand like Nike would have been the easy choice, Reese wanted to make a statement by partnering with Reebok.
“It would’ve been an easy choice to go with a bigger company, but I wanted to take a different path,” she concluded.
