Ben Affleck’s brother, Casey, welcomes JLo to the family with sweetest Instagram post
‘Good things are worth waiting for.’
Despite missing their lavish, Georgia-based wedding last weekend over what a source previously told PEOPLE were “parental obligations at home, Casey Affleck made sure to wish his brother’s new wife welcome to the family in the sweetest way.
Casey, who at 47 is three years younger than his big brother, Ben, took to Instagram earlier this week to share the following message to his new sister-in-law, Jennifer Lopez.
“Good things are worth waiting for,” Casey wrote alongside a throwback image of himself, Ben, 50, and Lopez, 53, walking together in Los Angeles in August 2002.
“Here is to twists and turns, new beginnings, and finding new reservoirs of old love.”
He added:
“Welcome to the family. Get ready for some real dysfunction! Kidding. I am kidding.”
Rounding off the adorable post, the Oscar winner wrote:<
“Jen, you are a gem. We love you so much!!!”
Ben and Jen, who first got together and even ended up getting engaged back in the early 200s, celebrated their wedding with a ceremony in Georgia last weekend in front of family and friends – just over a month after saying ‘I do’ in a chapel in Las Vegas.
To her wedding ceremony, Lopez wore no less than three stunning wedding dresses, all custom-made by Ralph Lauren.
Following them down the aisle were their five children (Ben has daughters Violet and Seraphina, as well as a son, Samuel, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, while JLo is mum to 14-year-old twins, Max and Emme, who she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony)
