Caitlin Clark’s Parents Steal the Show in Fever Star’s Instagram Video

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is finally getting some rest after a whirlwind year. She broke the NCAA’s all-time scoring record, led the Iowa Hawkeyes to the national championship game, entered the WNBA as the No. 1 overall pick, and shattered numerous rookie records in her first 26 games in the league.

After setting the rookie assist record (10) during the WNBA All-Star game, Clark told reporters, “I’m on vacation!”

Hours before the WNBA All-Stars defeated Team USA 117-109, Clark made an appearance at the Wilson popup event celebrating her line of signature basketballs. She posted a video from the activation on July 22, where her parents, Brent and Anne Nizzi-Clark, caught viewers’ attention.

As the camera panned to the crowd, viewers could see her parents’ unbridled pride and excitement for their daughter. One fan commented, “Her parents in the crowd ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” while another noted, “👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️ look at her parents 🥹🌟.”

A fan wrote, “Mama and Papa Clark 🤍,” while one woman commented, “Proudest parents ❤️❤️❤️.”

During the event, Clark credited her parents’ support for propelling her storied basketball career. “Don’t let anybody tell you, you can’t do something,” Clark said when asked to send a message to her young fans. “You can achieve whatever you want in life.”

“I think especially for young girls, have confidence. I think that’s something a lot of young people struggle with is confidence. Luckily enough, I have parents that instilled confidence in me. I grew up playing basketball with the boys, so I had a lot of self-confidence, and I think that can get you a long way as a young girl, as a woman.”
