Dafne Keen fans ‘knew she was lying’ about Deadpool & Wolverine cameo after she’s seen in trailer as they ‘can’t wait’*

THE final trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine has been released – and featured a special appearance.

The highly-anticipated Marvel film hits theaters next week and features Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

On Friday, Deadpool & Wolverine fans got another glimpse at what they can expect in the R-rated hero movie.

In the two-minute teaser, Ryan’s comedic character Deadpool, and Hugh’s very serious X-Men member Wolverine, team up to fight a common enemy.

Nearing the end of the trailer, fans were shocked to see that Dafne Keen’s character, Laura, from the 2017 movie Logan made a surprise appearance.

Last month, The Acolyte star was asked if she was going to be in the new film, but said no.

She told On Demand Entertainment, “It’s sad…I love Hugh Jackman…Ryan Reynolds is a legend … It would’ve been amazing to be a part of it.”

When she starred alongside Hugh in the late 2010s film, she was 11 years old.

Now at 19, she reprised her role as Laura, also known as X-23, and seemingly fully embraced her Wolverine-like abilities.

In the comment section of the trailer posted on YouTube, fans were even more thrilled about Laura’s cameo.

One wrote, “Having X-23 (Laura) as a regular character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be a no-brainer to me.

“She was amazing in Logan.”

“Laura being there is honestly no surprise to me,” a second revealed.

“She pulled an Andrew Garfield with that one, talking about the movie like she wasn’t in it but still ended up in it, Hella fire. Loved Laura’s character, so glad she’s back,” they continued, referring to Andrew appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

“So happy Dafne Keen makes an appearance! She was incredible as a child in Logan, so intense,” someone else mentioned.

A fourth viewer exclaimed, “This movie has bought back the excitement for marvel films! Thank you Deadpool!”

Lady Deadpool is set to appear, but her identity has not been revealed yet.

“I can’t believe you brought the butterflies back to my stomach with a movie I never been excited for a superhero movie since Infinity war and endgame,” stated a fifth.

POPCORN GALORE

Over the last few years, many companies have created popcorn buckets based on their latest films including Barbie, Ghostbusters, and Inside Out 2.

In May, Ryan and Hugh made their rendition of a popcorn bucket and social media went crazy.

The bucket was circular on the bottom, but had Wolverine’s face with his mouth open at the top where fans put their hands in to grab the popcorn.

On the side written it read, it said, “Designed by Deadpool.”

“Years from now they will look back at 2024 as the year the War of the Popcorn Buckets began,” Ryan wrote on X.
