Philadelphia Eagles fans have received some unwelcome news ahead of their team’s Week 17 clash against NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.
The Philly faithful were quite angry at Joe Davis and Greg Olsen on Sunday, with the FOX commentators having called the loss to the Washington Commanders. They were particularly peeved with Olsen’s job as they felt he minimized the impact of the team losing Jalen Hurts in the first quarter.
Olsen, who’s no longer on the A-team at FOX following the arrival of Tom Brady, seemed to favor the Commanders, at least that’s how Eagles fans saw it.
They would have hoped not to have to hear Sunday’s crew for the rest of the season. However, Davis and Olsen have been announced as the commentators for the team’s upcoming game against the Cowboys.
“NEWS: Joe Davis and Greg Olsen will call the Eagles-Cowboys game on Fox again this Sunday,” MLFootball reported on Monday. “This crew called Philadelphia game yesterday and was heavily criticized by Philly fans.”

Greg Olsen Has Already Upset Philadelphia Eagles Fans Even Further
Olsen has refused to back down amid the heavy criticism and called Eagles fans out on social media after going off the air on Sunday.
“Eagles fans are the best!” he wrote in a tweet. “They lose for the first time in months after giving up 36 points and we didn’t make enough excuses for them
“Sounds like we did a great job!!”
