Jordan Poole is known for his unique antics on the basketball court. Unfortunately, the Washington Wizards guard’s recent shenanigans against the Boston Celtics have caught the eyes of Stephen A. Smith. During a viral on-court moment with Payton Pritchard, Poole crossed up and pointed at him as he took the floor. While this resulted in a missed chance of scoring, Smith lashed out at the 25-year-old Wizards star for his ego.

But Jordan Poole does not seem to be affected by the criticism at all. When asked about the recent words from Stephen A. Smith, the Wizards’ guard shrugged it off. “Nah, I don’t even be watching it, [Smith’s show]… It’s just barbershop talk to me. That’s all it is,” Poole said. However, Smith does not seem to be mightily pleased with Poole.

The renowned personality also laid stress on Poole’s time at the Golden State Warriors. He pointed out that the 25-year-old was punched by Draymond Green in the practice. According to Smith, this happened due to the ego of the young guard. Well, by the looks of it, Smith really seems angry at the 25-year-old. He significantly criticized Poole for his decline.

Stephen A. Smith Goes Off On Jordan Poole

Stephen A. Smith could not curb his frustration after watching Poole ‘showboating’ against the Boston Celtics. During a recent episode of First Take, Smith vented out his anger and also detailed how Poole’s career graph has declined rapidly. The TV personality also said that it was due to his ego and excessive show-off that Poole got traded to the Wizards.

That’s why his a*s is in the nation’s capital,” an infuriated Smith stated. According to him, Poole’s chances of winning an NBA championship were significantly higher with Golden State. But with the Wizards going .500 from 70 games, things look quite bleak. Thus, disregarding Smith’s criticism, it remains to be seen whether Poole can prove Stephen A. Smith wrong.
