A blockbuster trade proposal has the New England Patriots blowing up the NFL by sending the top selection of 2025 to an AFC Rival that would let them take Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
The Patriots’ loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 17, coupled with wins from the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, put Jerod Mayo’s group into the spot for the No. 1 pick heading into the regular season finale. Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is widely regarded as the most likely to go first overall.
But since the Patriots used the No. 3 pick of 2024 on Drake Maye, the odds are strong that they’d trade that selection to the highest bidder.
The @SavageSports_ X/Twitter account proposed a crazy trade idea that has the Patriots trading the No. 1 pick of 2025 to the Las Vegas Raiders for superstar defensive end Maxx Crosby, 2025 and 2026 first-round picks and a 2025 second-round pick.
The Raiders will likely be in the market for a new quarterback in 2025, and Shedeur Sanders could be the very player to bring new life to this organization. So don’t be surprised if Vegas GM Tom Telesco proposes a monumental package to move up for a player like Sanders leading up to the draft.
Shedeur Sanders Had A Monster Final Year At Colorado
In his final year of college football, Shedeur Sanders completed 74.0 percent of pass attempts for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions to go along with four rushing scores.

Atlanta Falcons outside linebacker Matthew Judon was in no mood to be trolled on Sunday night.
Just before the Falcons were set to take on the Commanders at Northwest Stadium on Sunday Night Football, some fans were on the sidelines taking in the sights and sounds.
A number of them were fans of the Commanders and wanted their time in the spotlight as Falcons players walked by them.
One video first shows inside linebacker Josh Woods being heckled by Commanders fans as he stared them down before telling them to come his way as he walked to the tunnel.
Matthew Judon was a lot more hands-on with his reaction.
A fan could be heard saying he wasn’t going to do anything tonight during the game when Judon first jumped at him. Then, he smacked the other fan or his phone as he walked off.
