The Dallas Cowboys have made a stunning roster decision on veteran running back Ezekiel Elliott ahead of Sunday’s regular season finale against the Washington Commanders.
Per NFL insider Josina Anderson, the Dallas Cowboys have released Ezekiel Elliott before their final game of 2024. The two-time rushing champion heads to waivers and could be picked up by another team ahead of the postseason that commences on Jan. 11.
After a one-year stint with the New England Patriots, Elliott returned to the Cowboys on a one-year pact in free agency. His second tenure with Dallas concludes with 226 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 15 game appearances.
Ezekiel Elliott Can Pursue A Ring Elsewhere
The Cowboys did Elliott a favor by deciding to release him ahead of Week 18. The 29-year-old now gets the opportunity to pursue a championship ring with a playoff team, and Elliott’s experience should make him attractive to clubs looking to bolster their RB depth.
NFL Fans Are Furious After Finding Out That One NFL MVP Voter Is Getting Paid By The Buffalo Bills And Has Already Said He Isn’t Voting For Lamar Jackson
NFL fans are furious after ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky revealed that he won’t be casting his NFL MVP vote for Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson.
With one week remaining in the regular season, Lamar Jackson and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen are the two front-runners for the NFL MVP award. Orlovsky, who makes weekly appearances on the “One Bills Live” program, is one of 50 analysts who votes for the MVP winner.
Orlovsky made headlines on “First Take” yesterday when he stated that he wouldn’t give his MVP vote to Jackson. Orlovsky used a bizarre explanation in that Jackson’s receivers have drawn more separation than Allen’s.
Needless to say, NFL fans have wasted little time ripping on Orlovsky for already stating that he wouldn’t vote for Lamar Jackson:
