New Orleans was set to host the 2025 Super Bowl this year, and many fans will attend the biggest sporting event of the year. However, a damper has been put on the event due to the recent actions during New Year’s Eve.

The city in Louisiana is known for its party lifestyle and culture, and with New Year’s Eve happening last night, there was no doubt in anyone’s mind that a celebration of some sort would occur in New Orleans.

However, what many did not expect, and nor should they have to, was that people at one of those New Year’s Eve parties would, unfortunately, be the case as the city hosted a party outside for the Superdome to both celebrate the Sugar Bowl and New Year’s Eve.

Driver Of The Vehicle Was Confirmed To Have ISIS Flag On The Truck

During a party to celebrate both the New Year and the Surgar Bowl that was to be taking place in New Orleans between Notre Dame and Georgia, a driver, who has now been identified as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar, drove his truck through barricades to intentionally kill people celebrating.

It was also later confirmed by the New Orleans Police that it was indeed a terrorist attack, as the driver had attached an ISIS flag to his truck and had guns inside before deciding to commit the attack. He would, unfortunately, kill at least 10 people and injure 35 others.

Police were not able to apprehend the suspect, as he decided to open fire on officers after crashing the vehicle. Jabbar would eventually be shot and confirmed dead after a shootout with police. The FBI and investigators continue to look at the case.

If this was the end for Jalen Milroe at Alabama, he went out in the worst way possible.

Many fans thought the Crimson Tide should’ve been in the 12-team playoff, even with their losses. They proved early on against the Michigan Wolverines that they did not belong.

The Crimson Tide turned the ball over three times in a span of four plays during the opening 15 minutes as Michigan jumped out to a 16-0 lead.

Jalen Milroe could get nothing done.

The Michigan Wolverines seemed to know how to contain him, and all they needed to do was look at his feet.

A damning video online has surfaced of a guy exposing the Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback for tipping plays to his opponents.
