Stephen Curry Looks Back At Epic Rivalry With LeBron James Before Christmas Day Game
On Christmas Day, Stephen Curry is scheduled to face LeBron James in the much-anticipated showdown between the Lakers and the Warriors. Before this epic game, Curry openly discussed his thoughts on the rivalry with James during an interview on ESPN’s “NBA Today.”
“It’s a fun battle because of the longevity of how long we’ve been doing this. There’s more appreciation and respect than probably back in the day because there was a lot of pettiness and resentment. The rivalry was real but it evolves and you still want to go at each other, but the respect is there.” Curry said during an appearance on ESPN’s NBA Today on Tuesday.
The Lakers are currently in 7th place in the Western Conference standings, with a record of 16 wins and 13 losses. The Warriors are in 8th place, also with a record of 16 wins and 13 losses. The game between the Lakers and Warriors will start at 8:00 PM ET at Chase Center.
