Westlake football and North Crowley faced off in the Class 6A Division I championship game Saturday at AT&T Stadium.
The battle went further than the players on the field.
The Class 6A Division I finals pitted a blue-blood program against an up-and-coming North Crowley team.
Emotions were high inside the stadium and it showed with an incident that turned chaotic.

As for the game, Crowley senior quarterback and North Texas signee Chris Jimerson Jr. threw for 299 yards and four TDs while adding a rushing TD to will their team to a dominant victory.
The Panthers out-gained Westlake by nearly 300 yards.
North Crowley Made History Inside AT&T Stadium On Saturday
North Crowley did what they were supposed to do on Saturday.
The team finished up one of the most dominant seasons in Texas high school football with a flourish.
The North Crowley Panthers racked up 640 yards of total offense, breaking the game open in the second quarter with a 28-7 lead, per Sporting News.
They left no stone unturned, going on to win 50-21 against Austin Westlake for the UIL 6A Division I title.
Crowley finished 16-0 and won its second title in program history. Their last title win was in 2003.
Inside AT&T Stadium, North Crowley became the first school in Fort Worth to win a title in UIL’s largest classification since Arlington Heights won in 1948.

Mangione, 26, was arrested as part of a homicide investigation following the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson last Wednesday.
The Ivy League graduate was cornered by police after being recognized by a McDonald’s employee at one of their restaurants in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on Monday and was reportedly found with a ghost g-n, several fake IDs, as well as a manifesto detailing his problems with corporate America and the healthcare industry.
According to sources, he has since been charged with m-rder in New York and firearms and forgery offenses in Pennsylvania.
