Texans Pro Bowl running back Joe Mixon revealed what he did while he watched in horror as Tank Dell suffered a gruesome injury.

Dell was carted off Saturday’s game against the Chiefs after suffering a knee injury.

Before that, his teammates came over to see about his condition.

Dell caught a 30-yard touchdown but, in the process, had his knee rolled into by a teammate.

Joe Mixon says he could do nothing but pray for his friend and teammate as he was screaming in pain.

Dell was taken to a University of Kansas Medical Center, just outside of Arrowhead Stadium.

The second-year receiver had tallied six catches for 98 yards and a touchdown before suffering the injury during the early stages of the third quarter.

Dell has had quite a few months.

He notably suffered a fractured fibula in 2023, as he was limited to 11 games last season.

He was also shot earlier this year.

Tank Dell has 51 catches for 667 yards and three touchdowns on the season.

Injury Update Revealed On Tank Dell

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was taken to the hospital and will remain there overnight after he left Sunday’s 27-19 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with a knee injury.

Head coach DeMeco Ryans noted that Dell suffered a “significant knee injury.”

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network later reported it was a dislocated kneecap.

Tank Dell’s leg appeared to get rolled up on unintentionally by teammate Jared Wayne in the back of the end zone.

Now, his season is over.

“The current legal case is related to a misunderstanding regarding Adrian’s court appearances as it relates to child support, and he is actively working with his legal team to resolve this matter as quickly as possible,” Peterson’s publicist Denise White told the publication.

“He is committed to clearing up this situation and moving forward positively.”
