10Tower of God Season 2

Tower of God Season 2 was a highly anticipated return for a huge hit anime. The anime’s first season was released all the way back in 2020, and it took 4 years for its grand return. Just like the first season, the anime has showcased some incredible action scenes. The anime still has more to offer, as it hasn’t concluded just yet.

Wind Breaker was a very good release this year when it comes to action anime. This anime dropped this year, and while it is a short series with its season being made of only 13 episodes, it’s definitely worth its while for anyone interested in brawls. The characters don’t have any supernatural abilities, but the choreography for its fights, especially during the tournament, is quite amazing to watch.

8Dragon Ball Daima

Many Dragon Ball fans rejoiced when the series finally got a brand new, original anime, Dragon Ball Daima. This anime turns Goku, Vegeta, and all those who helped beat Buu into kids, and makes them go on a brand new adventure. As with all Dragon Ball series, the action is one of the core elements of it, and it’s no surprise to see that it is amazing.

7Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest

Fairy Tail fans were thrilled with the release of Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest, as the beloved series finally made its return to anime.

While it only has 23 episodes so far, the series has already had quite a few great fights showcased, and will definitely have more to come as old beloved characters like Natsu and Ezra make their return.

6Kaiju No. 8

Kaiju No. 8 is a newcomer to anime. With only 12 episodes, it has already made a great impact with its interesting story and concept. The story follows Kafka Hibino, someone who hates Kaijus after having his town destroyed by them.

Despite his hate for them, he is possessed by one who entered his body. This gives him the ability to turn into a Kaiju, and makes for some amazing action in this anime, as he fights and gives it his all.

5Demon Slayer Season 4

Demon Slayer has been one of the biggest anime of the last few years. In 2024, it received its fourth season, which was quite short compared to what fans are used to, having only 8 episodes.

Compared to other seasons, this one was definitely a bit lacking in overall fights and actions, but that is due to the arc to come, which will be the most intense the series has seen. The Hashira and the others will take on Muzan and his demons. The Hashira Training arc was still fun to watch and had some good action moments nevertheless.

4Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict

Bleach is one of the big three anime, but for a long time, it went on without having its thousand year blood war arc animated. This all changed in 2022 when it received an anime adaptation, and to date, the series is still not done, with the Thousand Year Blood War being in its third part, the Conflict.

One thing Bleach is definitely known for is its fights. The action in Bleach is top notch, and pretty much every episode is packed with action.

3Dandadan

Probably the biggest new anime this year, Dandadan was a huge hit among anime fans. The story follows Momo and Okarun, and they have to confront creatures linked to the extraterrestrial and the occult. Their real confrontation with Turbo Granny is one of the best action episodes in the anime, and definitely where most fans were hooked to this series.

The anime ending for now is definitely a bummer for many fans as they will have to wait for 2025 for more content.

2My Hero Academia Season 7

Quite easily one of the best seasons of My Hero Academia and one of the best anime that dropped this year, MHA season 7 was most definitely an action-packed one. The season covered a huge part of the final arc of MHA, which makes it self-explanatory that the season had a lot of action.

The heroes gave it their all to finally put a stop to Shigaraki and All For One. This arc isn’t finished, and fans will have to wait for next year’s final season.

1One Piece – Egghead Arc

One Piece has always been one of the peak action anime out there. Specifically, the Egghead arc that started late 2023 and continued through 2024, has been quite a fun arc, and had some good action. While not the best action in One Piece history, some of these fights were still amazing to watch, most notably the rematch between Luffy and Rob Lucci.
