Dr. Stone Season 4: Senku’s Journey in American Continent Begins in New Trailer

The final season of Dr. Stone, officially titled Dr. Stone: Science Future, is set to premiere on January 9, 2025. The announcement was accompanied by a main promotional video that reveals key plot points, the opening and ending theme songs.

This fourth season will air in three separate cours (quarters of the year) with breaks in between, concluding the story that began with the anime’s debut in 2019.

Crunchyroll will handle streaming across regions including North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the CIS. Netflix will stream the series in Asia.

The promotional video hints at pivotal moments as Senku and his team continue their mission to revive humanity. This season focuses on their journey to the American continent, where they aim to procure corn, the primary ingredient for the revival fluid.

Awaiting them are formidable opponents, including Dr. Xeno and Stanley Snyder, whose advanced scientific prowess adds significant plot points to season 4.

The opening theme, “CASANOVA POSSE,” is performed by ALI, and the ending theme, “Rolling Stone,” is by BREIMEN. Both tracks were specifically written for this season. A preview of “CASANOVA POSSE” is included in the main promotional video.

Leaks: According to the credible insider @sugoiLITE, the first part of Dr. Stone: Science Future (Season 4) will consist of 12 episodes. However, it’s important to note that the official episode count has not yet been confirmed.

The voice cast for this final season will see Kenji Nojima as Dr. Xeno, a character whose methodical and scientific prowess poses a significant threat to Senku’s plans. Nojima is a seasoned actor known for roles such as Eustass Kid in One Piece and Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask in Sailor Moon Crystal.

Stanley Snyder, the antagonist’s loyal ally and a skilled strategist, will be voiced by Kōji Yusa, whose notable roles include Gin Ichimaru in Bleach and Shadow the Hedgehog in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

Dr. Stone first debuted as an anime in July 2019, introducing audiences to a unique blend of post-apocalyptic storytelling and real-world science. Its second season, subtitled Stone Wars, premiered in January 2021, exploring the ideological battle between the Kingdom of Science and the Tsukasa Empire.

The one-hour special episode Dr. Stone: Ryusui aired in July 2022, serving as a precursor to the third season, Dr. Stone: New World. That season ran in two parts, beginning in April 2023 and concluding in December 2023.

The anime is based on the manga series written by Riichirou Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2017 to March 2022, the manga spans 26 volumes
