Kylie Kelce Reveals How Jason Kelce Injured Himself From ‘Eras’ Friendship Bracelets

Who knew friendship bracelets could be hazardous? Jason Kelce, apparently.

According to his wife, Kylie Kelce, the 37-year-old retired Philadelphia Eagles icon took his Eras Tour experience to the next level — and paid the price.

On the Thursday, December 19 episode of her podcast Not Gonna Lie, Kylie, 32, shared how her husband went a little overboard collecting the famous beaded bracelets traded at Taylor Swift’s concerts.

“Jason was cutting off his circulation,” Kylie joked, adding, “His hands were purple. When he took them off at the end of the night, he looked like he had been, like, wrapped in string for hours.”

Thursday Night Football host Charissa Thompson joined the former field hockey athlete on the podcast and couldn’t help but laugh about the situation. “The beads were screaming,” Thompson, 42, quipped. “They were, like, about to fly off and hit the moon.”

The bracelets may have been designed for actual Swiftie teens, but that didn’t stop the NFL star from piling them up to his bicep. Kylie — who shares Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1, with Jason and is expecting her fourth baby girl next year — teased, “I’m like, ‘Can you not?'”

Jason, who hung up his cleats in March, attended Swift’s London show in June alongside Kylie and his brother, Travis Kelce — who’s been romantically linked to the 34-year-old “Cruel Summer” singer since September 2023.

Swifties didn’t hold back, showering Jason with bracelets until his arm was practically a rainbow of beads. In a fan-captured video at the concert, the proud dad could be seen showing off his stacked bracelets to Kylie, who admired his haul before comparing it to her own collection.

Later in the podcast episode, Kylie and Thompson connected over the magic of the Eras Tour, with the sports commentator sharing a story about her niece, who attended a Swift concert after battling a brain tumor. “From that moment, I was like, ‘I love her,'” Thompson said.

The Eras Tour came to an end on Sunday, December 8 after 149 shows — it was the highest-grossing tour of all time and the first to earn over $1 billion in revenue.
