During the Fourth Shinobi World War: Climax, Madara faced the Allied Shinobi Forces. After realizing that his enemies were too dangerous for him to hold back, Madara used Tengai Shinsei to pull down a meteor from the atmosphere. The move was so shocking and so overpowered that several of the shinobi considered Madara to be a god to be able to pull a meteor out of space.

In fact, Madara added a second meteorite and instantly devastated most of the Fourth Division. This ability has confused fans for years. How exactly can a shinobi use a jutsu to summon a meteor from outer space? In order to draw massive meteorites from the atmosphere, Madara weaved three hand seals simultaneously between him and his Susanoo. The combined power is enough to even deter a meteorite from its path.

The meteor crash was so devastating that not only did it wipe out most of Madara’s enemies, it also destroyed a significant portion of the landscape around it. The resulting tremors from the crash was even felt at the headquarters of the Allied Shinobi Forces. But one disadvantage of the power is that it also destroys the summoner of the meteor in the process since there isn’t enough time to escape from it.

Why Can’t Boruto Bring Back Madara’s Tengai Shinsei?

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has recently introduced many new villains. These villains are clones created by Code’s Claw Grimes. They were formed from the chakra of those bitten by the Grimes. These villains are clones of Bug, Moegi, Isshiki and last but not least, Sasuke.

These latest antagonists are terrifying to say the least. Yes, Boruto has also put to use some abilities like Planetary Devastation, but nothing as God level as Madara’s meteroirte summoning has debuted yet. And it leads to a single question: why not?

The heroes in Boruto are obviously in need of some overpowered abilities, and they will be more and more desperate as they reach the finale. So why not reintroduce one of the most insane jutsu in Boruto? For one, fans would be wide-eyed and left in disbelief with a meteor suddenly crushing the villains. And secondly, it would be a nostalgic reference to Naruto, which everyone would welcome with open arms.
