Nick Jonas has angered fans after replying to one of Elon Musk’s tweets and seemingly threw support the billionaire’s way

Nick Jonas has riled up fans after replying to one of Elon Musk’s tweets.

The interaction between the billionaire and pop star began when Elon used a Jonas Brothers GIF. Elon retweeted an article about his car company Tesla, which read: “Wait…. everyone thought Elon Musk was destroying the Brand of @Tesla and he shouldn’t be involved in politics. Tesla is up 100% since Donald Trump won!”

He then Posted a GIF of Nick and his brother Kevin Jonas rotating a table. Along with the GIF, he wrote: “My, how the tables have turned!” Then, came the comment that sparked outrage. Nick threw a seemingly supportive comment toward Elon, writing: “Take us to the Year 3000.”

Fans then accused Nick of being a “trump supporter” and were fuming that he would support such a controversial figure as Elon.

“i’m gonna start crying,” one tweeted. “I did not used to have a crush on Nick Jonas for this to happen oh my god,” another wrote. “And just like that…. You ruined everything AGAIN Nicholas,” a third said.

One user pointed out the Jonas Brothers’ hesitancy to endorse a candidate during the election and then using this tweet to break his silence.

They wrote: “we’re not just gonna move on from this btw. to be noticeably quiet during the entire election cycle and then tweet something like this? i’ve been a fan since 2005 and was really looking forward to a 20 year anniversary tour but i just cannot give my support to this.”

Aside from this bold tweet, Nick has been laying low with his wife Priyanka Chopra and their two-year-old daughter Malti.

Nick and Priyanka celebrated their six-year wedding anniversary last week. The singer posted carousel of images on Instagram of the two of them spending the day with their daughter Malti.

The caption read: “6 year wedding anniversary. Moana 2. Family time. New York City. What could be better. My heart is full.”

The couple first started talking in 2016 when Nick reached out to her on the platform X when it was known as Twitter. Despite some dates and public appearances, the two didn’t officially start dating until 2018. They tied the knot later that year
