The theory states that there is a big possibility that Eiichiro Oda might have dropped a major hint that explains the passage of time within Elbaph. There is a chance that this time distortion might be the reason behind the longevity of the Giants’ age or their huge sizes. Thus, if the Straw Hat Pirates stay here, there is a chance that they might get an ample amount of time to train themselves.

If this happens, and Luffy really gets a new power-up in terms of Haki or Devil Fruit in Elbaph, he might be able to unlock a new transformation. This would also get him and his crewmates ready for the final war that has been awaited by One Piece fans for the longest time.
