As fans know, this incredibly powerful trio is composed of Luffy, the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, Sanji, the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates as well as a very powerful combatant, and Zoro, the Swordsman of the crew. Together, the Monster Trio are considered to be a mighty force, the likes of which are very difficult to take on and defeat in battle.

Right now, in the Final Saga, the Monster Trio are already incredibly impressive. However, they are far from reaching their full potential. The Monster Trio still have to grow stronger, and come the end of One Piece, they will be on an entirely different power level.

It goes without saying that the Monster Trio is incredibly powerful in One Piece. Over the years, they have shown tremendous growth, and within the Straw Hat Pirates, these are the characters that have gotten the most fights. Luffy, being the protagonist of the series, has always been involved in one fight or another, and he is always using them to better himself. Luffy has improved his Devil Fruit usage dramatically, and even mastered all three types of Haki, as well as their advanced levels. Most recently, Luffy even went on to awaken his Devil Fruit, and all these powers put together are great enough to see Luffy become a Yonko of the Sea and take on as well as defeat powerful individuals such as Kaido.

As far as Zoro is concerned, fans know that he has learned a great deal over the years. Zoro is incredibly powerful and his swordsmanship ability is mesmerizing, to say the least. Zoro has his powerful three-sword style, and on top of that, he has mastered all three types of Haki, with advanced control of Conqueror’s Haki. Undoubtedly, with all these powers, Zoro is almost unstoppable in combat.

Meanwhile, Sanji, the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates, has also leveled up greatly over the years. Whereas Sanji once struggled to take on and defeat powerful enemies like Doflamingo, right now, he can make quick work of them, and this is all down to the power that he received in the Wano Country Arc. Sanji Is fueled by his emotions, and he possesses tremendous abilities, such as his own phenomenal strength at close-range combat, and at the same time, scientific powers as well. Overall, Sanji is a phenomenally powerful individual, and he completes the Monster Trio with his incredible strength and keen intellect.

The Challenges For The Monster Trio To Face

The Monster Trio Can Still Grow Stronger In The Final Saga

As things stand, the Monster Trio form a very powerful group. Luffy is already on Yonko level, while Zoro is stronger than the vast majority of the Yonko First Mates. Sanji is up there as well, and fans know that these three, together, are an unstoppable force. That said, none of them have reached their peak as fighters, which means that they will accomplish great things in the future by taking part in massive battles.

In the Elbaf Arc of One Piece, fans will most likely get to see the Monster Trio engage in massive battles. In fact, Oda has already teased the Monster Trio having a very important role in this part of the story, and when he does get the chance to illustrate it properly, he will take it with both hands. Here, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji will strengthen themselves perfectly in different ways. Whereas Luffy will want to improve the efficiency of Gear 5, Zoro will improve the time limit of the King of Style. Meanwhile, Sanji still has his scientific powers to explore, as well as improve his Haki.

Once we win this war, we’ll finally be able to see it… a glimpse of Luffy as the Pirate King!

It can be said that the Monster Trio are most definitely going to come across major threats in the finals that they will have to defeat. For Luffy, characters such as Loki might end up being massive thorns, and at the same time, individuals such as Shanks will be quite troublesome opponents as well. Zoro and Sanji can defeat their respective enemies, such as members of the Red Hair Pirates, among others.

Luffy has to fight against other Yonko, such as the leader of the Blackbeard Pirates, Teach, and many other powerful individuals as well. Meanwhile, Zoro has to take down Mihawk, who fans know to be on the same level as the Emperors themselves. Sanji might not have a clear-cut opponent in front of him, but he is always up there with Luffy and Zoro and has already fought against even Admirals in the Final Saga. From here onwards, the challenges are only going to get difficult for Sanji and the other members of the Straw Hat Pirates, which just goes to show that their overall strength is going to improve significantly.

When looking at the Roger Pirates, fans know that Rayleigh himself was an Emperor level pirate, and Roger took the top spot, and rightly so. Fans will likely see a similar case playing out with the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy will surpass all the Emperors and potentially even Roger and Whitebeard. He will reach levels similar to Joyboy’s, and might possibly even surpass him. Meanwhile, Zoro and Sanji will hit a high level, surpassing all the Vice Captains of the One Piece world and getting on the same level as the Yonko themselves. The Straw Hat Pirates still have to surpass every other crew, and it is only natural that their overall strength is much higher than anyone else who would dare to challenge them.

For now, the crew is still in Elbaf and it will be quite some time until they leave this island. But, when they do, they will be stronger than ever before and possibly even ready to take on the World Government in the final battle
