Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is expected to request a trade in the offseason following what has been a disastrous campaign in New York.
It’s no secret that Wilson is frustrated with the Jets, especially given his meltdown during a recent game. And it appears the constant mediocrity, plus the fact that the team has actually gone backward with Aaron Rodgers under center, has taken its toll.
The wideout has been the subject of trade rumors since Davante Adams was acquired, and according to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, people close to Wilson expect him to request a trade at the end of the season.
Cimini revealed as much on the ‘Flight Deck’ podcast, claiming that “people in Garrett Wilson’s circle” reckon he will “ask for a trade after the season.”
