One such theory revolves around Red-Haired Shanks, where fans have been believing that he might have an evil twin who is working for the World Government. For quite some time, it had remained cloudy, if that were true or not.
However, with the release of Chapter 1134 of the manga, it became as clear as day that the theory proves to be right. To prove their point, the critical theorists of the series have come up with yet another theory that every fan would love to have a look at.
Eiichiro Oda might prove the ‘Twin Shanks Theory’ true at this point in One Piece
Since the commencement of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece, Red-Haired Shanks has proved to be the greatest ally of Monkey D. Luffy, where he has always been his role model. Despite having such a prominent role, where he is one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, he had limited appearances until the Final arc began.

Currently, the series has been showcasing him as a regular character, where he obliterated Eustass “Captain” Kid and Bartolomeo, two members of the Worst Generation pirates.
Fans were taken aback during the Reverie saga, where Shanks had a brief meeting with the Gorosei; this led to the speculation of the Yonko having a long-lost twin brother, sparking the Twin Brother theory. However, fans are in for another surprise because Oda-Sensei might just prove that this theory was indeed true all this time.
Chapter 1134 of One Piece, titled Owl Library, had its summary shared on the internet, where it finally confirmed having 2 Shanks. Following the confirmation, Pew (@pewpiece) shared another theory from Reddit on their social media feed that followed another intriguing theory following the character.

The theory stated how Shanks was found in a treasure chest on God Valley, where the legendary battle where Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp teamed up to stop Rocks D. Xebec and his crew, who dreamt of killing the Celestial Dragons and ruling the world.
They felt that there was a high possibility that “Shanks is in fact celestial dragon born,” with a hypothesis of having a twin brother being a part of the holy knights.
This theory seems to be true because his scar was not shown during his first meeting with the Gorosei, where he warned them about a specific pirate. With the current events, it is believed that the pirate is indeed Akagami, and his brother has been monitoring him from afar.

To add truth to their theory, they explained how the Five Elders would treat him like any other Emperor of the Sea and referred to him as another individual present out there. To further reinforce their theory, they explained that till the current events of the series, the Elders saw Shanks as someone who could “potentially be a huge threat but seemingly has no intentions for it.”
Hence, if he is now making moves, it will be trouble for them because his brother had indeed warned him previously. The theory got the fandom jumping with excitement because it carries out all the elements that have the potential to become true.
One Piece fans can’t control their excitement following the theory
The fan theory summoned the entire One Piece community, which got them talking about how the Reddit user has the most prominent theory following Shanks and his mysterious brother. The theory was met with a thumbs up from the community; some even praised the theory as the “best” theory.
